Welcome to my online photo folio. My name is Ged Flanagan. I will say to you that photography is not my life, but it is a big part of it. Photography is a means for me to show my creativity through something I enjoy doing.

A photograph lives beyond the moment, it captures a moment so perfectly that each photograph taken, becomes an individual piece of art work.

I do photography because I love it. People have often asked, “why do you not make a living from it.” And my answer always is, because I don’t want to fall out of love with it. This web site is simply a means for me to share what I love doing, rather than to market what I do. Perhaps one day my love for photography will develop into something further, but until then I will continue to quite simply...take my pictures!
